I'm not much of a fan of book trailers. There are a lot of problems with the whole concept, I think, not the least of which is that they're nearly always cheesy.
But I got a kick out of the one for Stephen King's new book, Duma Key. If I hadn't already read the book, this might actually have made me interested in it.

Great Book Video - like you, I'm not a fan but guess they can be useful, this one is great -
I loved DUMAS KEY my review will be out on 22nd Jan as the book is released on 24th in the UK - Gave me very bad nightmares - but then again I have daughters.....

I don't care for book trailers either.
I much prefer horse trailers.

If I wanted yet another day gig that wasn't writing, I'd go into the book trailer business. That's the first one I've seen that didn't stink.
