PublishersMarketplace compiled a list of the 50 Most Reviewed Books of 2007. (#1 was Run, by Ann Patchett, reviewed 28 times.)
Only three books that could loosely be considered crime fiction were on the list, and they were all written by literary authors:
3 The Yiddish Policemen's Union, by
Michael Chabon (HarperCollins)
26 reviews
18 New England White, by Stephen L.
Carter (Alfred A. Knopf) 20 reviews
43 Christine Falls, by Benjamin Black
(Henry Holt) 15 reviews
(Harry Potter came it at #37, with 16 reviews. It was the only book on the list that I read.)

It's funny to me that the Chabon is up there. I enjoyed it (and reviewed it for the Boston Phoenix), but didn't think it matched his great "Kavalier & Clay." I felt he was deeply ambivalent about writing a mystery (which "Yiddish Policeman" is), and that in some ways he undercut himself. If you do read it, let me know - we can discuss...
