Congratulations to Barry Eisler, whose latest John Rain thriller, Requiem for an Assassin, debuts at #19 on the New York Times bestseller list. This is the first time that one of Eisler's books has cracked the extended list, so kudos are in order.
It's nice to see that someone can still build a career the old fashioned way, with talent, hard work and persistence. Way to go, Barry!
(My review of the book will be running soon.)
I loved REQUIEM FOR AN ASSASSIN, even though the title scared me, at first. I can't get enough of Rain!

Many thanks, David... the news and your kind words have definitely put some wind in my sails in the midst of the long Requiem tour! Tired but happy in Amarillo...

The New York Times Sunday Newspaper on May 25 had a great two page article on Jill Bolte Taylor and her book, "MY STROKE OF INSIGHT". Her book is a must read and this NY Times article - called "A Superhighway to bliss" is worth checking out too.
