David,
Congratulations! You richly deserve this.

Elaine Flinn

YES!!!!!!!!!!!

Cosmo Vittelli

I didn't have a vote, but my neighbor did, and she voted for Sarah Weinman's site, mostly because Sarah Weinman rarely wears pants.

I.J.Parker

Yes, yes, yes!!!

Sometimes people do the right thing.

Tim Maleeny

Well deserved indeed! Congrats David...

Rae

Way to go! Congrats!

I just clicked on the link and perused the nominees in all categories. The list of nominees is superb, which I suppose is another way of saying I share the Anthony committee's opinion of these works.

But I happily confess, the nomination that gives me the greatest pleasure is David's Crime Fiction Dossier.

David J. Montgomery

Leaving aside the matter of the nomination for the CFD, they have a fine slate of nominees there. Much better than the Edgars, I think. Granted, it's mostly a popularity contest. But there are still some damn good books, and only a few stinkers.

Cheryl

What's wrong with a popularity contest in this situation? It just shows that fans make some pretty good choices.I know what I like, and I like to see my favorites recognized. (And yes, David, I did nominate you.)

David J. Montgomery

Thanks for your vote, Cheryl! I'm honored.

Karen Terry

Congrats. It is so wonderful. I am so glad for you.
