Jim Fusilli was born in Hoboken, New Jersey, the hometown of Frank Sinatra. He is the author of the acclaimed series about PI Terry Orr and his daughter Bella, the most recent installment of which, Hard, Hard City, was just awarded Mystery Ink's Gumshoe Award for Best Mystery. Fusilli's next book is a about the Beach Boy's seminal rock album, Pet Sounds.
